Time Slice

Today I took one of my Employees out to lunch. He lives in the city and has a good idea of whats good and whats not. With that said, he wanted to eat at Basil Thai (click here for their site) and man was it good. We started with the duck, sweet potato curry dumplings and followed it up with what you see below: Stuffed Eggplant filled with chicken and vegetables with rice and green curry.

I haven’t been out for Thai food since I returned from Bangkok in 2005, I’m not sure why I didn’t want eat it. It could have been the lingering trauma from getting a massage from a place recommended by the Hiltons…….”don’t worry it’s a safe place, you’ll love it” they said. Famous last words. Ok, back to my food, this was a great place to revisit Thai food again and be forewarned, Thai food, I’m baaaaccccckkkk.
