The Taco Window

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008
After reading a review about this place; El Cachanilla, I decided to stop by for lunch and give it a try. The tacos are only $1.50 each, not too bad for how good these are. The only scary part is that it is a “Taco Window” right in the middle of a neighborhood and it does look a little iffy. That said, it was a good experience that was had by 7 people who tried a variety of things and not one was bad.

Above is the Chicken Taco with tomatillo salsa.

Above: This is where you walk up and place your order.

Above: If you’re unclear about the menu, it’s right above you…..

Above: My co-workers placing their orders.

Above: Another version of the menu. I think I might try the Ojo (eye) sometime, NOT! I’ll eat tongue but only if the taste buds have been removed……..

Above: The tortillas being heated to order along with a big ol’pot of carnitas and boy was it good. The carnitas were a little too greasy but the chicken and al pastor were killer.

If you’re in the city here is where they’re located:
