One of our stylists here at the studio decided to start her own catering company so she sells sandwiches on Thursday’s and boy are they worth waiting for! Here is the current deal that she offers:
Le Banh Mi Lunch Special for $10:
Your choice of- Grilled Pork, Grilled Chicken, OR Grilled Tofu Banh Mi (vietnamese sandwich)
Bag o’ Chips
Homemade Fresh Squeezed Meyer Lemonade & a Clementine orange
The sandwich was everything you like about a Vietnamese meal all rolled into a two pieces of bread and the lemonade was good to….. Hopefully this continues to do well for her.

At 1:30 this morning Christine and I were awakened by Emily’s sudden wheezing. It was a weird sound that wasn’t normal. I went in and checked Emily and her breathing was really bad. I gave her a dose of her albuteral but it didn’t really work so I ended up taking her to the emergency room around 2:30. They gave her a breathing treatment and her breathing got 100% better. Now we’re home and she’s in bed sleeping good. Her favorite part is that she got some High School Musical stickers……

After being in Disneyland we had to try some real food on the way home. Seeing as we were close to LA, I wanted to hit a famous food spot and see if we could find any stars grabbing a bite to eat. We didn’t see anyone at the time but we did meet a group of people that were on the Price is Right that morning. The spot we hit was Pink’s Hot Dog stand (Click hear to see more).

The line went around the building but it looked like it was moving pretty fast (It didn’t)

Here is a view from the line we were in.

At last there was hope! Jake and I were in the final stretch (It still took about 30 minutes from this point!)

Above you can see the menu. This is just a partial menu as there were other items posted on various signs around the windows. To see their full menu, click here.

This is someone’s order. What you can’t tell is how big that second hot dog is. Its a 12″ jalapeño polish sausage. To give you an idea of it’s size, it looks like it fell off of a horse…

This is the order of the couple in front of us. They ordered 6 chili dogs, 4 for now and two to go.

This is our order. After 1 hour of being in line we finally get to eat. From left to right this is what we had: Chicago Dog (POLISH DOG, mild or spicy, mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, lettuce – NO CHILI), The “Planet Hollywood” Dog (Polish Sausage, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, bacon & cheese), The Martha Stewart Dog (10″ Stretch Dog, relish, onions, bacon
chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut & sour cream), 10″ STRETCH CHILI DOG with Cheese, Two regular dogs, one without cheese and the other with. We chased it all down with a bottle of Bubble Up! It was good eats and sure beat the stuff we had been eating at Disneyland.

As we say goodbye to Disneyland we had to make one last stop at downtown Disney.
Now we’re off to Pink’s Hot dogs in Melrose (Hollywood/LA)

Jake and I decided to try the boardwalk while Tyler was riding a ride. We lost the basketball toss but then we tried the derby game. Jake made a pact that if he or I won he would get the prize. I won and he was right behind me.

It could be worse but we decided to sleep in and swim in the hotel's pool. We finally made it into the park just after 1. Instead of going to Disneyland we decided to start in California Adventure which so far has proven to be the right move.
